Jamaal has been very clear about the threat Republicans pose for our
democracy ahead of the 2022 midterm elections:

“This is a group that has been radicalized and is pushing for violence —
and pushing for even civil war. That is what is at stake right now in
terms of this election. Our democracy is hanging by a thread, and Black
and Brown people, our lives are in the balance if Republicans come back
into power.”

Then, Fox & Friends heard his words and twisted them into an attack. They
went on the air saying that Jamaal was resorting to “desperate claims to
trash Republicans” ahead of November’s midterm elections. One commentator
stated that “Every word [Jamaal] said there is false.”

Unfortunately, this kind of slander on Fox News isn't surprising. They
went on to blame Jamaal and our progressive movement for just about
everything wrong in our country — we'll spare you the video clip and show
you the list.

According to Fox & Friends, Jamaal and our movement are responsible for:

 1. Five dollars a gallon at the gas pump
 2. The baby formula shortage
 3. Making us dependent on foreign oil
 4. The rise in crime

We know that Jamaal Bowman is fighting for working people and the most
vulnerable in our communities — and he's been a leader in ending the baby
formula shortage and ensuring everyday people have what they need not just
to survive, but thrive.
