Hi John,
In a matter of days, the Supreme Court will release a decision regarding Roe v. Wade. If overturned, the right to abortion will be left to the states. Once federal protections are erased, electing pro-choice, progressive women at the state level will become a top priority to combat the distressing abortion bans and restrictions being enacted across the nation.
We are launching a State & Local Primary Fund. Will you help us support progressive, pro-choice women running against anti-choice opponents at the state and local levels by contributing $25 today?

As we know, abortion bans don’t stop abortion. They only make it more dangerous, and even life-threatening, for women to pursue reproductive healthcare.
With Roe v. Wade hanging in the balance, state legislators have started to prepare for the inevitable obligation to address the issue. Many states are poised to drastically limit or completely ban abortion access without exception for rape or incest, others are likely to enforce restrictive laws that had been unenforceable since 1973. There will be a number of near-total bans or laws prohibiting abortion completely after a certain number of weeks.
At least 23 states have laws aiming to limit abortion access.
Women’s right to comprehensive reproductive care is in danger. In this critical moment, we can’t afford to take a single state or local race for granted. The candidates running for these state and local seats will become the legislators deciding the fate of abortion access in America. It is critical that we elect pro-choice women to these positions.
