Dear John,
In just a few weeks—on June 30—First Liberty will wrap up another year of ministry. A year that has been an all-out fight for your religious liberty.
As you can imagine, this fight has been costly. And now…before we end our financial year...it’s critical to replenish what we call our First Liberty Fighting Fund.
Simply put, it will take $2.5 million by June 30th to meet our goals so we can continue fighting on the frontlines.
Replenishing this Fighting Fund is so critical a group of generous supporters is offering a $300,000 Challenge Grant, which I pray you will help us meet in full!
I don’t need to tell you that you and I are in the fight of our life to protect religious liberty across America. There are forces at work that are committed to strip you of your right to practice your faith.
In fact, there’s a new enemy on a quest to force religious Americans like you and me to accept the radical Leftist agenda.
This new enemy…Woke Corporate America.
Many of our nation’s biggest corporations have gone all in to fight against our faith.
Today, there is no shortage of employees being forced to wear company logos adorned with rainbows or vicious attacks on people of faith who refuse.
I’ve never seen such hostility openly out on display.
These woke corporations are quick to use today’s cancel culture to punish, demote and even fire religious members of their staff for expressing viewpoints that don’t conform to their modern Leftist orthodoxy.
I don’t think we can afford to ignore this rising opposition to religious Americans.
We have to meet this new corporate foe with more resolve and more vigor to defend our faith…which is just one reason why replenishing the First Liberty Fighting Fund by June 30 is so critical.

People of faith are no longer tolerated alongside other diverse viewpoints and different beliefs. Instead, the woke mob insists on coercing religious Americans to celebrate ideas with which they fundamentally disagree.
Major corporations are ignoring their legal obligations and discriminating against their employees on the basis of religion.
Countless Americans are facing threats against their careers, reputations and more—all for living according to their religious beliefs.
That’s why First Liberty is already on the frontlines in this fight.
Just recently, Alaska Airlines fired our clients Lacey Smith and Marli Brown, two flight attendants, because of their Christian faith.
Lacey and Marli politely asked about the company’s support of the “Equality” Act, after the airlines invited employees to comment on a company-wide discussion board.
Both of them expressed deep concern about the impact the bill could have on their freedoms—as do millions of Americans. The airlines disparaged their beliefs and promptly fired them over these questions.
Not only are we fighting for religious employees like Lacey and Marli, but we’re also protecting faith-based business owners who are facing hostile treatment because of their beliefs.
Our clients Aaron and Melissa Klein were forced to close their family-owned bakery because they declined a request to create a custom cake for a same-sex wedding.
Even though designing and crafting this cake would be forcing them to convey a message that conflicts with their faith, the state of Oregon decided to penalize the Kleins $135,000 and told them that they need “rehabilitation” for simply running the family business according to their religious beliefs.
Bullying these small business owners into reinforcing viewpoints that violate their conscience flies in the face of our fundamental freedoms. We can’t allow such blatant religious hostility to take over our nation—a nation FOUNDED on the bedrock of religious liberty.
We have to end this hostility towards people of faith in the workplace now.
But, John, you and I must stand shoulder-to-shoulder in this crucial fight. This fight can’t be won without your full support.
The good news is this: First Liberty is uniquely positioned at the center of the effort because we know how to fight back against these woke corporations and to stand up to rogue government agencies.
Victories for Marli, Lacey, and Aaron and Melissa Klein could fully return your constitutional right to live and work according to your faith.
When we boldly fight together against these vicious attacks on our freedoms…I assure you, we will preserve our constitutional freedoms for generations to come.
But we must first replenish the First Liberty Fighting Fund by the end of our financial year on June 30. I pray you will join the fight with your very best gift today.
And please be as generous as you can to help ensure we fully meet the $300,000 Challenge Grant that has been offered!
Yes, I will join the fight! >>
Let’s fight and win for our First Freedom together!
Gratefully,
Kelly
