Here's a look at what's in the bipartisan gun safety package, agreed upon by a group of senators, that will be turned into legislative text this week.

The bipartisan framework has the support of at least 10 Republican senators, meaning that it can overcome the 60-vote threshold for the legislative filibuster in the Senate if all 50 Democrats vote in favor.

The group released an outline of the framework they’ve proposed.

UN Nuclear Watchdog Rebukes Iran for Failing to Explain Undeclared Nuclear Activities

The nuclear watchdog for the United Nations passed a resolution that criticized Iran for failing to explain traces of uranium found at three undeclared sites. 

Iran responded to the resolution by saying it would remove 27 cameras installed to monitor nuclear activities under the terms of the 2015 agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

The European Union will require all new smartphones to have USB-C charging ports by the fall of 2024, as part of a recently announced agreement by the EU Parliament and Council.

In its announcement, the EU Parliament emphasized the environmental and financial impact of electronic waste.
