John – it's primary day in Nevada. Let me explain why chipping in $5 to my campaign before the general election starts is so important.

As you're reading this, Nevadans are casting their ballots to determine the general election match-up which top political analysts are predicting will determine control of the Senate.

No matter who my opponent is, I know two things for sure:

+ I'll be facing off against a GOP extremist who is ready to vote for a national abortion ban and be a rubber stamp for Mitch McConnell if Republicans flip the Senate.

+ McConnell knows the GOP's path to the majority runs straight through Nevada – that’s why he and his allies have already spent $22 million on negative attack ads against me.

As we head into the general election, my campaign cannot continue to be massively outspent – that’s why I have to raise $25,000 before the polls close tonight.

I asked my team to pull a list of top supporters to reach out to – and your supporter record was at the top of the list.

The way things are looking now, I cannot win this without your help. The general election could be an uphill battle because I'm behind in the polls and being outspent. But I'm no stranger to a tough fight: I overcame the odds and $50 million in outside spending to win in 2016 thanks to grassroots supporters just like you. We can do it again. We have to do it again because we cannot afford to lose. 

The only way we defend the Senate is by winning in Nevada. So please, John, I'm asking you personally: Will you pitch in $5 to help our campaign reach its primary-day fundraising goal?
