June 14, 2022
Dear John,
We are excited to invite you to the 2022 International Religious Freedom Summit, which will be held June 28-30 at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. Please join Family Research Council and Tony Perkins for this extraordinary opportunity to engage with international leaders and a diverse coalition of advocates to bring attention to the plight of persecuted religious groups and further strengthen the religious freedom movement.
With almost six billion people living in countries with severe or extreme persecution, now is the time to join this growing, global movement to advance international religious freedom.
Prominent speakers at this year's IRF Summit include:
- Paivi Rasanen: a member of the Finnish Parliament who was charged for expressing a biblical worldview on marriage and sexuality
- Ren Ruiting: a member of Early Rain Covenant Church and a survivor of persecution in China
- Enes Kanter Freedom: a professional basketball player and outspoken critic of China's human rights abuses
Family Research Council will be hosting a lunch on Thursday, June 30, during the Summit. This lunch will feature remarks from Finnish MP Paivi Rasanen and a panel discussion between Tony Perkins and victims of the West's increasing intolerance to Christianity, including American pastor Mike McClure and Canadian pastor James Coates.
In addition, Family Research Council will be hosting a breakout session on Wednesday, June 29, that will unveil an inspiring soon-to-be-released book entitled Heroic Faith: Hope Amid Global Persecution.
This Summit is a unique way in which we all can participate in helping the persecuted and contribute to a world that is safe for all to worship as they choose. To register for the IRF Summit and FRC's lunch exploring the rise of secular intolerance toward Christians in the West, click here.
We hope to see you there as we work together to advance the cause of religious freedom around the world!
