On this week’s Matter of Action, Wayne Morrow speaks with Development Officer Tim Marden about his journey to The John Birch Society and his transition from coordinator to development officer. Tim tells a motivating story of how he was able to turn a liberal democrat into a conservative congressman and explains how members can do the same.

Tim understands the difficulties of recruiting new members but offers some great advice to recruiting potential prospects. Starting a business chapter is something that Tim has seen success in and offers his insights on how to get this started. He explains how members should focus on recruiting one key person at a time and then build from there. Tim urges to be patient during this process as this is something that is not done overnight. If you are interested in starting a chapter or joining one, make sure you contact your coordinator in your area to see what you can do to get more involved!

On a side note the UN Climate Change Conference (COP25) will be starting in Madrid, Spain today through December 13th.  To make sure you’re well informed, we are sharing articles and videos on the history and crimes of the United Nations. We will also be having a few representatives there that will be providing ongoing coverage of the events taking place. Stay up to date on the COP25 Conference by visiting our web page here.
