With your support, GLSEN has done incredible work over the last 30 years to identify the major supports that schools use to cultivate a safe and supportive environment for all students. When these supports are put in place by schools, LGBTQ+ students experience less harassment and discrimination, perform better academically, and experience a more inclusive environment. However, we are seeing the rise of systemic anti-LGBTQ+ legislation—directly targeting GLSEN’s supports: inclusive curriculum, supportive educators, affirming policies, and GSA clubs—because they know our approach works and has been successful over three decades. Amidst the attacks, there is hope: Supporters like YOU.
