I would MUCH prefer to be writing my next novel than this email.

As a writer I am rarely at a loss for words. But as a woman and an advocate for reproductive freedom, I am speechless that the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and rip access to essential care away from millions of women.

Electing pro-choice leaders is the single most important thing we can do right now. That starts with Maggie Hassan in New Hampshire. She won her last race by just 1,017 votes and her opponents are all as anti-choice as they come.

Please rush $3 or as much as you can to help reelect Maggie and stop her anti-choice opponents from making it to the Senate. With Roe on the verge of being upended, handing Republicans even a single seat is truly the last thing we need.

I’ve known Maggie for a long time. She has always made leveling the playing field a priority - her advocacy for women and families is something I’ve always admired about her.

Is the GOP's anti-choice agenda devastating? Yes. Can we let it distract us from the fight to elect pro-choice leaders like Maggie? Absolutely not. That’s why I’m asking you to please join me in earnestly supporting her campaign:
