Adam Schiff Tells House Intelligence Committee They Have 24 Hours to Review and Sign His Monday Morning Impeachment Report

After a glorious four-day weekend that gave America a much needed break from the impeachment circus, Shifty Schiff was already warming up the clown car on Sunday, telling House Intelligence Committee members that he would be delivering his report recommending articles of impeachment against Donald Trump Monday morning, and the committee would then be given only 24 hours to study the report and sign off on it.

Why the rush?

Washington Examiner’s Byron York recently wrote in his columnWhy the Rush Toward Impeachment?”, Democrats “are racing to get the job done by Christmas. They’re not even trying to hear from some key witnesses, like former security adviser John Bolton, because they don’t want to take the time to go to court over it.”

As York wrote, Democrats like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are nervous about the potential of a Senate trial dragging well into the 2020 presidential primary. By constitutional law, the Senators will be required to stay in D.C. during the impeachment trial and prevent them from being out on the campaign trail.

Democrats are also worried about the decline in public support for impeachment that has been on a downward slide for over a month now.

But as Joel B. Pollak writes on Breitbart News, House Speak Nancy Pelosi appeared to be in a rush as well since she announced the impeachment inquiry, and Shifty Schiff then followed her lead, rushing his committee proceedings before all evidence was available to Congress or the public. The Intelligence Committee also published long transcripts of closed-door depositions the night before a public hearing, and then released only the transcripts that were most favorable to the Democrats impeachment cause.

Now, as the ball is being passed to Rep. Jerry Nadler and the Judiciary Committee, they are continuing to fast-track the process. Nadler has given Trump until Friday to respond to a request to participate, either directly or through his counsel, in the Judiciary Committee’s impeachment proceedings that start this Wednesday.

This newsletter will keep you updated as the impeachment inquiry continues to move toward the Democrat’s moment of truthwill they impeach Trump and give the Republicans an opportunity to conduct a Senate trial?

Stay tuned.

Once again, Ukrainian President says there was no quid pro quo:

A new interview by Time magazine and other European publications is being ignored by Democrats: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied for a second time that he was in a quid pro quo situation with President Trump. “Look, I never talked to the president from the position of a quid pro quo,” said Zelensky

President Trump quickly tweeted about this breaking news:

Senator turns into bulldog for Trump on “Meet The Press”:

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) got salty on the NBC News show Meet The Press Sunday morning. Normally a sleepy program, Kennedy got cantankerous and didn’t hold back on what was on his mind—calling the House impeachment hearing “as rigged as a carnival ring toss” along with many other truth bombs. President Trump must have smiled watching this interview.

Are Democrats signaling defeat on impeachment?:

That’s what RedState writer Bonchie pointed out this morning—a recent ABC News program showed the Democrats are getting frustrated with continued public opposition to impeachment and their resolve appears to be weakening. [WATCH VIDEO]
