I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving holiday. I wanted to let you know of something that’s coming up on Tuesday—a holiday to encourage giving called “Giving Tuesday”. I’m sure the email I send you then won’t be the only one in your inbox.

This year alone, we’ve pressed for—and won—$5 billion in property tax relief for you and your fellow Texans. And to make sure that those taxes don’t come back, we’ve pushed for—and won—limits on how much school districts can increase their revenue each year. We helped overturn the Clean Power Plan, an EPA plan that would cause your energy costs to skyrocket and would kill jobs in Texas. And we crafted policies to secure Texas’ border in the midst of the highest illegal immigration numbers in years.

Our team did all this hard work so that you could keep more of your hard-earned money and enjoy the freedom to live as you please in Texas.
