** Park Protector Awards 2022 closing soon - last chance to nominate a person or project
------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you to everyone who has nominated a National Park hero for this year's Park Protector Awards 2022 - if you haven't yet, don't worry, there's still time.

You have until 23:59 this Sunday 19 June 2022 to make a nomination via our online form. It's just a few questions and should only take a few minutes, and once you've nominated, we'll take care of the rest.

There are 2 x £1,000 prizes up for grabs, along with £500 in Original Cottages vouchers and a subscription to BBC Countryfile Magazine. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony at the Houses of Parliament on 11 July 2022.

The categories are:
* Main Park Protector Award (sponsored by WWF-UK ([link removed]) )
* Volunteer of the Year (People's Choice) (sponsored by Original Cottages ([link removed]) )
* New Perspectives Award (sponsored by Natural England ([link removed]) )

We can't do this without you, so please nominate a person, team or project today ([link removed]) and help them get the recognition - and reward - they deserve. And don't forget, you can nominate yourself! We won't tell, if you don't.

** P.S. Help us grow our National Parks: New Perspectives bursaries scheme
------------------------------------------------------------

We've almost raised enough to fund our 11th National Parks: New Perspectives ([link removed]) bursary, but need your support to hit the magic 13 - supporting more young storytellers to share stories from The Broads, Pembrokeshire Coast and New Forest National Parks.

The first 10 bursaries, launched earlier this year, cover Lake District, Peak District, Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland, North York Moors, Exmoor, Dartmoor, Snowdonia, Brecon Beacons and South Downs National Parks. We'll be sharing the results of these over the coming months.

Can you spare a few pounds to help us hit our £3,000 Aviva Community Fund ([link removed]) target to cover all National Parks in England and Wales? The crowdfunder closes on 27 June 2022.
