Here’s the truth: we’re $35,788 away from closing our budget. No exaggeration, no hyperbole, once we raise it, we’re done asking for money, and then we all can spend every waking minute of the day talking to voters.
So what’s in the budget? Well I’ve previously explained our polling: I lead by 4% in the initial head to head, but after voters hear that I’m their trusted weatherman and a scientist, then my lead nearly doubles to 7%. We know that by keeping our ad up on the airwaves, we will win this race. And that’s where your support comes in, every bit makes sure that we’re able to fully fund our plan to win.
The other piece of the budget is staff. They have been working around the clock, because they care about our mission. But our operations take resources and with gas over $5/gallon, it takes a lot to keep our people in the field.
