Hi John,

The next installment of the One Nation: Finding Common Ground on Climate series is almost here, and you don’t want to miss this conversation featuring environmental leaders from West Virginia.

Join us this Wednesday, June 15 at 2PM ET / 11AM PT for the West Virginia Clean Energy Policy Forum! Together, we'll explore the difficult question that lies at the center of the climate justice movement in West Virginia: how can we introduce clean, sustainable technologies without leaving people behind?

Delegate Kayla Young and Morgan King, Climate Campaign Coordinator at West Virginia Rivers, are working to change that. They’ll share lessons learned from the grassroots all the way to the state capitol on how to advance environmental policy in a state that has historically been driven by fossil fuels. Our very own Quenton King, Program Manager for Green For All, will facilitate the conversation.

Each month, Green for All hosts a series of climate conversations that bring together unlikely allies and give opportunities for us to learn from people across the nation on real-world climate solutions. In this month’s session, we will shed light on how to center the voices of communities while advancing climate policy. In West Virginia, coal has both been the source of economic prosperity and also the source of generations of public health impacts. As policy makers look to advance West Virginia’s economy and promote public health, we must work together to find common ground solutions to the climate crisis.

RSVP HEREWe hope you’ll join us next Wednesday to learn more and be a part of the solution!
