Wednesday marks ten years since immigrant youth won the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, providing temporary legal status to people who came here as children.
Undocumented young people across the country fought hard to win and protect DACA — yet millions of immigrants continue to face the threat of detention and deportation without any form of protection.
It’s long past time our leaders took action to make these temporary protections PERMANENT, John. That’s why we’re joining immigrant communities in calling on President Biden and Congress to deliver permanent protections for ALL. Will you join us? [[link removed]]

DACA recipients are in a torturous state of limbo in this country, the only home many have ever known.
And newly DACA-eligible youth face steep hurdles in Texas, where a federal judge ruled the program illegal in the state — shutting out untold numbers of new applicants and potentially setting the stage for another challenge of the program’s legality at the conservative-controlled Supreme Court.
President Biden and his administration have had the power for over a year to prioritize the safety of the over 11 million undocumented people in this country. The president and Congress can take immediate action — it’s time to get it done.
