Ten Democratic Senators and ten Republican Senators have come to a bipartisan gun control agreement!

The framework supports red flag laws, funding for mental health and school safety, the first federal law against gun trafficking, enhanced background checks, AND (!!!) it closes the  "boyfriend loophole."

It's not everything we wanted. But it will save lives — and provide crucial protection to women fleeing abusive partners (whether or not that abuser is their husband or boyfriend).

Right now, it's just an agreement, which means there's a lot of work we need to do before this package becomes law.
