When I think about campaigning in New Hampshire, I think about how willing Granite Staters are to talk to you at their doors.

Before embarking on their first canvass, people who are new to campaigns often ask, "Will someone feel intruded upon if I knock on their door?" And I always say no. Because that's the New Hampshire way: talking to people face to face about the issues that matter.

I believe that walking neighborhoods and knocking on doors is the best way to learn about people. Hearing from Granite Staters – on their doorsteps and in their living rooms – made me a better State Senator, a better Governor, and a better U.S. Senator.

That's what makes New Hampshire special: we listen to each other, we care about our neighbors, and we roll up our sleeves to work together to help our community.

I know firsthand that organizing matters. In 2016, I won by only 1,017 votes – less than half a percentage point.

If each and every person who helped by donating, knocking doors, or calling voters hadn’t done what they did for our campaign, I would have lost.

This year, with Roe v. Wade hanging by a thread, the stakes are even higher. That's why my team started earlier than ever to get staff on the ground, reach every Granite Stater, and build a winning campaign.

But Mitch McConnell is targeting my race with millions and millions of dollars because he knows every single one of my opponents would be a rubber-stamp for his extreme, anti-choice agenda.

Knowing what the margins in my last race were, can you chip in $3 or more before our mid-month deadline to help keep this seat and our Senate majority in Democratic hands?

It’s not hyperbole to say that this election could come down to what you do right now.

So please, chip in $3 or any amount to help us win in New Hampshire and stop Mitch McConnell from taking back the Senate.
