John: Primary elections are one of the biggest hurdles facing grassroots Democratic women. Why? So-called political “wisdom” says Black and Brown women, women of color, LGBTQ+ women, unmarried women, and young women just aren’t “electable” enough to go head-to-head with the GOP.
