[1]Charles Booker
Enough is enough.
For too long, Rand Paul has used his power in office to help his white
supremacist friends and incite hate and division in our country.
* He single-handedly blocked the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act from
passing in 2020 which would have made this heinous act a federal hate
crime two years ago.
* He voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and
denied basic voting protections for Black and brown communities.
* While families buried their loved ones following the massacre in
Buffalo in May, Rand Paul opposed the bill to address domestic
terrorism fueled by racism — saying racism has ‘gotten better’ since
the 1960s.
* He spread the lie that the 2020 election was stolen after a record
number of Black Georgians voted and helped incite a violent white
supremacist insurrection.
In this historic election, the choice couldn’t be clearer. Do we move
forward together, or do we let politicians like Rand Paul forever hold us
back and drive us apart?
In November, we will choose justice, healing, and humanity, and FINALLY
remove this dangerous man from the Senate.
I need your help to make this happen. [ [link removed] ]Will you chip in
$5 right now to show Rand Paul that this movement is rising
up to end his political career?

Let’s be clear, Rand Paul’s reactions to these painful events are all
connected, and they all have the same end goal: to maintain white
supremacy.
This year, we have a real chance to write a new chapter in our history;
one that moves us forward in the fight for economic, racial, and
environmental justice.
We have a chance to move our country forward towards a future where we
don’t have to worry about our door’s getting kicked in or our children
facing police violence because of the color of their skin.
We have a chance to send a young Black man from the hood and descendant of
enslaved Kentuckians to the United States Senate, replace Rand Paul, and
bring forth a new chapter of equitable, strong leadership to our
Commonwealth.
Rand Paul may want to divide us, but hate won’t win this time. I know
that, together, we can create the future we want — for ourselves, for our
loved ones, and for our communities.
[ [link removed] ]That’s why I’m running for U.S. Senate and I hope you're ready to join
me in this fight. So I have to ask one more time: will you please chip in
$5 to our campaign?
It’s time to move forward together.
Thank you,
Charles
