Hey folks – this has been a tougher Monday than usual.

Every Monday my campaign and I take a look at our weekend fundraising report. Unfortunately, this past weekend, we came up $821 short of our goal.

Consistently hitting our weekend goal is vital to our campaign’s plan for victory. Will you chip in $10 to help close the gap and ensure my campaign has the resources it needs to win in November?

I know $821 may not seem like a lot, but these shortfalls can add up. If we continue falling short of small goals, hitting our bigger goals becomes harder. And if we don’t hit our big goals, we’re putting this seat – and the entire Democratic House majority – in jeopardy.

Trust me, fundraising is far from my favorite part of the campaign. But right now, Republicans – including Mike Pence – are dumping millions in special-interest cash to attack me with misleading ads, and we can’t let them continue without strong responses.

Republicans will fight hard, but I know this grassroots team is up for the challenge.
