More than 200 people have been killed and at least 7,000 have been arrested. Philip Luther ( [link removed](?x-mi:(?%3C=href=)[%5Cs]*[ ), a policy expert at Amnesty International, said, "This alarming death toll is further evidence that Iran's security forces went on a horrific killing spree, that left at least 208 people dead in less than a week. This shocking death toll displays the Iranian authorities' shameful disregard for human life."Indeed, that is what the protests are all about. But the ayatollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders don't care. They are not using the vast resources of the oil rich nation to build schools and hospitals or other vital infrastructure projects that could improve the lives of average Iranians. Have they learned nothing from history? Well, apparently not.
