On Saturday, I attended Peoria's annual Moss Avenue event and set up a station flying a "TRUMP LOST LOL" flag. I had a wonderful time meeting the people of Peoria, and I'd like to share that experience with you.

I talked to many fantastic people at the event. Many people came up to me to compliment the flag and share their stories of crazy right-wing conspiracy theorists in their families. Many more wanted to hear about my campaign.

At one point, a disabled veteran approached us, saying he loved the flag so much that he wanted to buy it! The sense of community I felt on that day was unmatched.

I had a great time connecting with the people of Peoria! What our country needs right now is community, connection, and understanding. Getting out there and making real connections is the best way to do that.
