Words have the power to create or destroy.

In March, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) released their "Guide to Language and Abortion" to coach the medical community on how to hide the true brutality of abortion.

ACOG recommends replacing:

• "unborn baby" with "embryo" or "fetus."
• "heartbeat" with "cardiac activity."
• "dismemberment" with "disarticulation."
• "partial-birth abortion" with "intact dilation and evacuation."

The introduction to the ACOG guide begins, "The language we use when discussing reproductive health has a profound impact on what people hear and learn." I couldn't agree more, which is why it's so appalling that ACOG is abandoning science and manipulating language to dehumanize life in the womb.

What ACOG is really trying to do is counter the profound impact of the pro-life movement in educating Americans about the value and dignity of unborn babies.

But the unchanging, life-giving Word of God highlights the beauty of His creation: "...you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made..." (Psalm 139:13,14)

The far Left knows their agenda can't win if the American people hear the truth. So they will continue to deny reality, distort facts, and silence anyone who dares to speak up.

The unethical, far-Left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) targets organizations like FRC as "hate groups" to marginalize, discredit, and silence us. But we are stronger than ever, thanks to millions of Christians who are waking up to the destructive "progressive" agenda.

Jesus declared, "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:10)

We won't back down from sharing the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth of what the Bible says as we confront the culture and as we work to shape public policy here in Washington, D.C. and in state capitols across the country.

And I hope John that you are with us.
