Omaha World-Herald Projection:
Tony’s election is "a squeaker... that’s too close to call"
John, I’m personally asking you to become a 2022 Member of my general election campaign. I’m up against my first fundraising deadline since my primary at midnight. I cannot let my Republican opponent outraise me. I need $6,329 before the midnight deadline, so please, can I count on you to chip in?
I’m in a "too close to call" race to unseat Republican Congressman Don Bacon because grassroots donors have stepped up to power my campaign (thank you!):
Eliza J. in Omaha, NE -- $3 |
Max L. in Lincoln, NE -- $5 |
Jayda F. in Wahoo, NE -- $15 |
But I’ll be blunt: I’m at risk of being outraised by my opponent and his special interest money.
I need to raise $6,329 before the first deadline of my general election to pay staff and run campaign ads.
I only need 3 Members from 19125 to close the gap, so I’m asking:
Will you contribute even just $1 before it's too late?
My opponent, Congressman Don Bacon, has voted in lockstep with the Republican Party against hardworking families.
He voted against lowering the cost of prescription drugs and the COVID relief package when Nebraskans needed him most.
But if he outraises me, I could lose my chance to defeat him and put Nebraskans first in Congress.
I could really use your help. Will you send in $19, $14, or even just $1 before my midnight deadline? I’m down to the wire and could really use your support. >>
Thank you,
Tony
