Did you just watch that? Shocked doesn’t begin to start it. The level of organization and coordination is startling. This is no joke, this is no game, this is an attempted coup. Yes, I used present tense, because it’s ongoing. The lies continue and now we’re seeing more Republicans winning their primaries on this argument.
Over the past two committee hearings we heard from Officer Caroline Edwards that she was engaged in hours of hand to hand combat. She described the day as a “war zone”. The grounds of the U.S. Capitol were described as a “war zone”.
Multiple Republican members of Congress asked for pardons due to their role in fomenting the attempted coup. I mean how much clearer can it be? They knew their actions were a crime, they did it anyways, and then they begged for protection. They must be held responsible.
While Rudy Giuliani was telling the former President to falsely declare victory on election night in 2020, we heard from Ivanka Trump that she thought her father’s claims were baseless. Probably not great when your own children think you’re full of it…
Friend, there was an attempted coup in our country. It was planned, organized, and executed by the President of the United States, and senior members of his political party. That must fire us up. We must stand up and protect our country.
