These last few months have been busy! I’ve had the privilege of paying tribute to our local and national heroes, fighting for our constitutional rights, and engaging with the wonderful members of our community. Each day I am able to serve the people of Virginia’s 9th District is truly an honor and a blessing. Here are just a few highlights from the campaign trail. 

Honoring Our Heroes on D-Day

National D-Day Memorial Ceremony

I was honored to be present for the 78th anniversary of the D-Day landings at the National D-Day Memorial. We celebrated four living WW2 veterans at the service. Thank you to all who have served our country and made such great sacrifices to protect our freedom. 

Pro-Life Achievements

Friend of the Family Award

Faith & Freedom Coalition bestowed awards upon lawmakers who demonstrated an exemplary voting record in the 116th Congress and a continued commitment to defending the family, protecting religious liberty, and standing with our ally Israel. I am honored to have received this recognition, and I intend to uphold each of these core principles as we prepare for another year of one-party control in Washington D.C.

Endorsement from National Right to Life

Thank you to the National Right to Life Committee for recognizing my 100% pro-life voting record in Congress. I will continue to fight for the lives of unborn babies and their mothers by opposing tax payer funded abortions and the unconstitutional attempts by Democrat lawmakers to enshrine abortion into federal law. 

A+ from Susan B Anthony List

I stood up against Biden and Pelosi’s pro-abortion agenda by protecting health care providers who refuse to engage in brutal abortions, earning me an A+ from the Susan B. Anthony National Pro-Life Scorecard. I will continue to stand for life and protect those who support the rights of the unborn. 

2nd Amendment

Wytheville and Salem Gun Shows

I am grateful for the opportunity to show my support for the 2nd Amendment in Wytheville and Salem. Our constitutional right to bear arms is imperative to the safety of our families and nation as a whole. I will keep fighting to guarantee that our rights shall not be infringed upon.

Trail Days Hiker Parade

One of my favorite things about representing the 9th is having the opportunity to engage with the wonderful people that make up our adventurous, creative and special district. I had a blast at a parade where everybody brought squirt guns and am thankful the kids showed a little mercy on me out there!
