John – it's Tony Evers, the Governor of Wisconsin. There is so much at stake this election, and to win in November, we have to take action right now. Can I take a moment to explain why?

You see, this year, there are 36 governors' races across the country, and in far too many of them my Democratic colleagues are playing defense. In Nevada, Michigan, and here in Wisconsin, we've got toss-up races. And in each of these states, we're running against far-right radicals who would jump on the chance to take away reproductive freedom and push their dangerous agendas.

In 2018 and 2020, we won critical races like mine by making early investments and building powerful grassroots movements. We can win big again this year, but only if activists like you stand up to the far-right megadonors pumping millions of dollars into states like Wisconsin. John, please, will you split a donation between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association before 11:59 p.m. tonight so that we can win across the country? All gifts to the DGA will be MATCHED up to their $50,000 mid-month goal.

When I first saw the leaked Supreme Court decision revealing that Roe v. Wade was likely going to be overturned, I had three immediate, urgent questions: 1). What does this mean for people here in my state? 2). What does this mean for Americans all across the country? 3). What can I do to fight back?

For folks in Wisconsin, it means that a law 173 years old could take effect, making providing an abortion a felony.

For Americans across the country, it would mean that your right to abortion would likely be decided by your governor.

And for Democratic governors like me, it would mean that defending abortion access falls to us.

This month, I signed an executive order calling for a special legislative section to repeal it. I will continue to do everything I can to further protect reproductive freedom and abortion access here. But if I lose my election in November, a far-right radical will take power. Winning governors' races like this one here in Wisconsin has never been more critical.

Wisconsinites and Americans are counting on Democrats to do whatever it takes to win – and that's why I'm asking for your help today. Please, will you split $3 between my campaign and the DGA to help us defend reproductive freedom here in Wisconsin and all across America? Donations to the DGA up to their $50,000 mid-month goal will be matched – and in dead-heat races like this one, every contribution makes a difference.

I'm so grateful to have your support, especially during moments like this one.

Thank you,

Tony Evers
Governor of Wisconsin

In heavily gerrymandered Wisconsin, Gov. Tony Evers acts as a brick wall against Republicans’ coordinated efforts to suppress voters, ban abortions, and gerrymander their way into power.

Last year, he vetoed six bills designed to suppress the vote and NINE anti-abortion bills.

Will you answer his call and chip in now to elect Democratic governors? All donations will be split between his campaign and the DGA, where they’ll be matched.
