Friend, in a few moments, I am going to ask you to chip in to my campaign for president. Here's why:

We close the books on July just a couple of hours after I step off the debate stage next week. And where we land at the end of this month in terms of fundraising will decide a lot about our future.

Our budget will help determine if we can hire more people on the ground in key early states, reach more folks with an unapologetically bold message for our country's future, and recruit more first-time donors to ensure my spot in future debates.

Look, I know that we're not the frontrunner in this race. That means that, unlike some other candidates, we can't rake in millions of dollars in one day. I'm not a billionaire able to pour my own money into this thing. And our campaign is refusing to take donations from corporate PACs, federal lobbyists, and pharma and oil company executives.

That doesn't make me a favorite of some of the D.C. insiders but it does explain why these fundraising deadlines matter more for a campaign like ours.

So I'm asking you personally, can you chip in before the big fundraising deadline at the end of this month and help us build this campaign into an undeniable force?
