It’s going to take all of us coming together to meet this moment and deliver real, transformational change here in Maryland. 

I’m so proud of what our campaign has accomplished so far: from criss-crossing the state meeting with everyday, working Marylanders, to releasing progressive plans to tackle the inequities that keep opportunity out of the hands of too many, to building a grassroots coalition with support from every county, it’s clear how much is at stake in this race and that our campaign has what it takes to win on July 19.

From Frederick to Easton to Dundalk and everywhere in between, Marylanders are facing real challenges right now. As the richest state in the richest nation on the planet, we have the resources to address our state’s shortcomings – we simply need a bold leader to take decisive action.

I know that we can transform state government into a positive force for good and address these issues by establishing universal health care, implementing a real living wage, taking the climate crisis head on, and ensuring every Maryland student gets a world-class education no matter their zip code. But, I can’t do any of that alone.
