Hi John, my name is Gabby Giffords. I'm a former congresswoman, and 11 years ago, my life was changed forever when I survived a mass shooting at a constituent event in my hometown.

I decided to turn my pain into purpose by becoming a national gun safety advocate, and I've never looked back. But today, I'm not writing to talk about myself. I'm here to tell you about my ally in Congress Josh Harder.

Josh was one of the Democrats who helped us achieve the Blue Wave in 2018 and helped pass a bill to expand background checks. Then he withstood a stiff challenge from the extreme-right to keep the House blue in 2020. Ever since Josh was first elected, I’ve been so proud to see him stand up for our families and the common sense reforms we need in order to keep them safe.

We need to keep Josh’s leadership in Washington.

But, he’s one of the most vulnerable Democrats in the country and he needs our help to win. That's why I'm personally asking, John: Will you contribute $10 or more now to help our champion Josh win his seat and keep the House blue?

I can’t emphasize this enough: With a 3-seat House majority, losing this race would almost certainly hand the House over to Republicans. Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, Marjorie Taylor Greene – that’s who will be in charge if we don’t do everything we can to help Josh win.
