John,
The Senate just announced a bipartisan framework that, if passed, will mark the most consequential federal gun violence prevention policies in 30 years.
This is the kind of change that gun violence prevention activists have been fighting for for decades, since Brady passed our namesake background checks bill in the ‘90’s, and finally, the Senate is listening to the American people and not the gun lobby.
This is a meaningful step but it is only the first. Our hope is this bipartisan effort will usher in a new era for this movement. And it’s happening because activists said enough, because you took action alongside hundreds of thousands of others – by donating, signing, marching... And we can't let up now.

This is the road map, John, it’s up to us to make sure this framework becomes the law of the land. That’s why Brady is already working tirelessly to flood Senators with calls for action – because if we keep the pressure on and drown out gun lobby fearmongering, we can change this country.
But, we can't do it without your help. Can you give right now – any amount you can – so Brady can urge the Senate to take action and save more lives?
