You might not know the name Jim Marchant well today, but I'd expect that to change.

Tomorrow, Nevada will vote in its primary election, and Jim Marchant could be the latest election denier to become the Republican nominee for secretary of state in a key battleground.

Marchant is a Nevada state assembly member, and was, in fact, among the first Republicans in the country to claim (with no substantive evidence, of course) that Nevada’s election results were invalid. 

(Not only does he think the election was stolen from Donald Trump, he believes he himself fell victim because he failed to win the U.S. House seat he was after.)

Now he’s running to be the state’s highest election oversight official. And this guy isn’t just spouting lies from the trail -- he’s actually leading in the polls and bringing in real money to fund his campaign.

People like Jim Marchant are why I started The American SOS Project -- we must defeat these extreme, election denying, Trump-embracing candidates this November. Will you chip in whatever you can right now to support this work?

I don’t know what’s going to happen in Nevada tomorrow, but I do know that no matter what, we can’t be caught flat-footed. Donald Trump has made his plans crystal clear -- we have his playbook, and now it’s on us to fight back.
