Hi John,
Join me at the Patagonia Old Town store in the Washington D.C. area TONIGHT, Monday, June 13 at 7:00 EDT for a Boundary Waters Traverse Fun Run and Film Screening Event.
After the short film, I will give an update on the fight to protect the Boundary Waters and answer questions, and then lead an optional fun run that starts and finishes at the store. The run will be about 2.5 miles and folks are welcome to join for any portion! Snacks and refreshments will be provided for the in-store portion.
In May of 2021, I ran what is now called the Boundary Waters Traverse - 110 miles of trail through the heart of the Boundary Waters that linked the Border Route Trail and the Kekekabic Trail. After more than 38 hours of continuous running, I was the first person to have ever been recorded completing this journey in one run!
