Happy PrideFest ABQ!

This weekend, Team MTO and I had the honor of walking in the ABQ Pride Parade with Equality New Mexico as one of their Equality Champions!

I am a long-time supporter of our LGBTQ+ community and was proud to be a part of the movement to legalize same-sex marriage in New Mexico in 2013. It was such a privilege to walk alongside other advocates for equality and see so many of our residents showing up as their authentic selves today.

Celebrating our vibrant community and all the progress we have made over the past decade makes me even more proud to serve you as Secretary of State. While there is still work to be done to ensure all our residents feel safe and accepted in our state, I am thrilled to see the massive strides we have made toward justice and equality.
