On the six-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando that took the lives of 49 members of our LGBTQ+ community, we must continue speaking out to honor the victims and their families with action. Six years later, thousands of Floridians are still being killed or injured due to gun violence every year. As so many families grieve the loss of their loved ones and communities are torn apart, it’s up to our elected officials to take action to prevent these senseless tragedies.
xxxxxx,
On the six-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando that took the lives of 49 members of our LGBTQ+ community, we must continue speaking out to honor the victims and their families with action.
Six years later, thousands of Floridians are still being killed or injured due to gun violence every year. As so many families grieve the loss of their loved ones and communities are torn apart, it’s up to our elected officials to take action to prevent these senseless tragedies.
Instead of taking action to prevent gun violence, Ron DeSantis has vowed to sign permitless open carry into law. This isn’t the Wild West, no matter how much DeSantis wants it to be — we should be taking action to prevent gun violence, not weaken the few regulations we have in place.
xxxxxx, you know where we stand on this issue, but now we need to hear from you. Do you have a quick second to let us know if you support common-sense gun violence prevention measures?
Do you support common-sense gun violence prevention measures, like banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and requiring universal background checks?
YES
NO
While Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody has been dubbed the “NRA’s Attorney General” for pushing the Florida Supreme Court to bar the ballot initiative to ban assault weapons amid an epidemic of mass shootings, Daniel Uhlfelder will be an advocate to enact common-sense gun prevention measures to save lives.
As Florida’s next attorney general, Daniel will also push to challenge the legal immunity that currently shields irresponsible firearm manufacturers and sellers from civil lawsuits — which has left families of gun violence victims without an avenue to seek justice.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on what we can do to prevent gun violence, xxxxxx.

Daniel is running for Attorney General because for the last 4 years, the Florida Governor and Attorney General have been more interested in bullying those they don’t agree with than helping Florida families. It is time someone finally stood up to the bullies. Daniel is the person to do just that — donate now to help power his campaign to hold Ron DeSantis and Ashley Moody accountable!
