Dear Georgian,

Liberal cities run by Democrats with strict gun laws have the highest crime rates in America. After years of demonizing law enforcement, the left rushed through H.R. 7910 and H.R. 2377, which threaten your Second Amendment rights.

Criminals don’t follow the law, and I voted against these gun-grabbing bills that only punish law-abiding citizens.

Alternatively, I cosponsored the Secure Every School and Protect our Nation’s Children Act, which makes schools safer by increasing funding for school resource officers and officials, providing critical mental health training to guidance counselors, and more.

Stripping Americans of their ability to protect themselves will only worsen the crime crisis. By investing in better protection for our schools and law enforcement, we can make a safer nation for our children.

Prioritizing American Energy

We shouldn’t be begging Saudi Arabia, or any other country, for oil when we produce it cleaner in the United States. Yet President Biden and his administration will not permit us to drill domestically because of his war on American energy. I joined colleagues in sending a letter to President Biden, asking him to focus on American producers over Saudi producers to fix the crisis he created.

Sonny's portrait is being unveiled tonight at the USDA to honor his outstanding service as USDA Secretary. Urging Stronger Protection of SCOTUS Justices

To the radical left, the ends justify the means. A violent criminal was apprehended last week before he could carry out a planned assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh over the potential overturn of Roe v. Wade.

My Republican colleagues tried to bring legislation to the floor that increased protection for SCOTUS Justices, but Speaker Pelosi refused. The belligerence and violence from pro-abortion activists need to be strongly condemned by both the press and the President.
