John,

As you already know, climate change is a time-sensitive issue. We do not have an eternity to address rising temperatures, increasing pollution, and the eradication of entire species. Every year matters. Any year where we don’t make progress makes it harder to achieve our goals.

Unfortunately, the four years under Trump didn’t just result in a lack of progress, but instead actively set us back.

Trump approached the issue of climate change with denial and defiance. That attitude shows in the data: America’s path towards net-zero emissions has been significantly derailed by those four years of failed leadership alone.

According to recently released rankings of every country, the U.S. plummeted from 15th to 101st in our climate policy standings.

A single administration did levels of harm to our progress on climate change that will far outlast its four years in office. The importance of acting fast — and acting now — cannot be overstated.

SEEC members are on the frontlines of this fight to compel Congress to treat this issue like the crisis it is and pass meaningful legislation to address it. And that must happen now while something can still be done for the health of our planet and the safety of its global community.

Will you support them in this fight and contribute to keep SEEC members in Congress, urging action on climate change? [[link removed]]

CONTRIBUTE [[link removed]]There is going to be a point where we run out of time. We simply cannot let our country, or our earth, get even remotely close to this point. We must act now and rectify the damage done by the Trump Administration, while pushing for even more action on climate.

If you’re with us, can you contribute now to support SEEC members on this, John, as they continue to work on real policy solutions to our climate crisis? [[link removed]]
