Dear Friend,

Six years ago today, on June 12, 2016, [ [link removed] ]49 people lost their lives at
the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. Fifty-three others were
injured.

Pulse was a beloved gathering place for members of the LGBTQ community.
Folks would go there to dance, let loose, have fun. But on that night, in
the height of Pride month, a time of joy and celebration, a cherished safe
space was turned into an killing field.

Six years later, we’re still mourning the loss. Six years later, we’re
still losing innocent people every day to gun violence in this country.

Now more than ever, we must enact common-sense gun control legislation. We
must enact bold policies that will save lives.

[ [link removed] ]Sign if you agree: We must abolish the filibuster and pass common-sense
gun reforms.

We must call out—and vote out—those corrupt politicians who stuff their
pockets with special-interest-group money while mouthing platitudes on
“thoughts and prayers” as Americans—in Orlando, in Buffalo, in Uvalde—face
tragedy after tragedy.

I promise to remember the victims of the Pulse massacre, this Pride month
and always, in the fight to end gun violence in our country.

[ [link removed] ]Sign the petition: Tell Congress to pass gun safety legislation.

In solidarity,
Ro
