[ [link removed] ]Can the Israeli Government Survive? Israeli political correspondent Tal
Schneider joins J Street’s Adina Vogel-Ayalon to discuss the fault lines
that are cracking within Israel’s coalition government, partially centered
around the renewal of the ‘settlements law’ which regulates Israeli
control of the West Bank.[ [link removed] ][Register Now] Early last week, Israel’s
government failed to renew a bill extending legal protections for settlers
in the occupied West Bank – a major setback for the fragile coalition that
could ultimately unravel it. This is a significant moment for both this
government and the ongoing debate over occupation, settlements and
Israel’s control of the West Bank. As political divides once again bring
this government to the brink of collapse, Tal and Adina will map out what
may come next.[ [link removed] ]Tal Schneider is a Political Correspondent at Zman
