Friend, when our friends and neighbors aren’t represented and included in our democracy -- we all lose out.
Every person in the U.S. deserves to have someone in our government who’s fighting for their interests. But some power-hungry politicians want to deny us that right -- and draw legislative districts that don’t count everybody who lives there.
That’d give outsize political power to some people over others... take representation away from our future generations... and deny our communities their fair share of resources.

For nearly a century, state leaders have counted every single person when drawing legislative districts. This ensures that our elected officials represent and serve everyone living in their district -- and that our communities get their fair share of funding for road repairs, firehouses, affordable housing, and more.
But in 2015, GOP gerrymandering mastermind Thomas Hofeller theorized that changing this -- and instead drawing districts based on populations of citizens over 18 years old -- would secure a permanent electoral advantage for “Republicans and non-Hispanic whites.”
Now, political operatives are plotting to make Hofeller’s scheme a reality. And for the sake of our representative democracy -- we can’t let that happen.
