AGs are supposed to issue subpoenas, not receive them.
Friend,
We already knew that Georgia’s Republican AG Chris Carr cared more about Donald Trump than protecting our democracy. And now AG Carr is being subpoenaed by the Fulton County District Attorney for his role in Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election.
AG Carr is vulnerable in November and we have a real chance to elect Jen Jordan, a pro-choice attorney who has a history of standing up for Georgia’s families in court and in the Georgia State Capitol.
Jen is not shying away from important issues in her campaign, she has been a fearless advocate for voting rights and abortion access throughout her career as a state legislator. With Georgia poised to be a critical swing state in 2024, we can’t state how important it is to have a pro-democracy Dem AG in office.
