Hey there, it’s Brady. 

My dad is running to be the next Senator from Ohio. I think it’s pretty cool he gets to go to so many different places and talk to new people.

Today is my 8th birthday and to celebrate, my Dad took a day off from his campaign to take me to ride roller coasters. It was a lot of fun and he told me he will win his race if he has a bunch of friends who cheer him on and help him raise a lot of money. 

So since it’s my birthday my Dad said he’d help me send this email to his friends like you. Because one of the other things I really want for my 8th birthday is for my Dad to win his race and be Ohio’s Senator.

My Dad said he’ll put a big blue button at the bottom so you can click it to give him $8 for my 8th birthday. So, will you please click the button so my Dad wins his race and helps Ohio. Then this would be the best birthday EVER!!

Oh also, we have a family competition to see whose email can raise the most money so please help me win!!
