Days ago, the bipartisan U.S. House committee responsible for investigating the January 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol just held their first televised hearing — and the new information is damning.

In this first hearing, we learned that Donald Trump had a "sophisticated seven-part plan" to overturn the 2020 presidential election results, along with other details that prove he and multiple members of his party fueled the violent insurrection on Capitol Hill.

The committee warned that our democracy remains at risk to this day. And NM-02’s own Rep. Yvette Herrell is one of the MAGA extremists responsible for this threat.

To date, she has:

- Voted against certifying the election results;
- Been endorsed by Couy Griffin, who was convicted for criminal trespassing at the insurrection;
- Accepted thousands of dollars from fake Trump electors;
- Continued to push lies, conspiracy theories, and ‘Stop the Steal’ rhetoric.

Herrell is putting party before country by helping advance a dangerous movement to destroy our democracy. She’s far too extreme for NM-02 — and this November is our chance to unseat her.
