[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina

The January 6 Committee’s hearing this week was chilling and showed us once again why our opponent Ted Budd cannot be allowed to represent us in the U.S. Senate.

While insurrectionists attacked our Capitol and attempted to overthrow our democracy, here’s a reminder of what he was doing:

"Ted Budd tweet which reads 'On behalf of every North Carolinian and every American who wants integrity in their elections, I signed my objection to the electoral votes in 6 states.'"

Please make a donation to our campaign today to help us defeat Ted Budd and stop him from trying to overthrow future elections in the Senate.

When Ted Budd was asked about what happened on January 6, he said the insurrectionists were “patriots” and said that what happened “was nothing.”

What happened on January 6 was far from “nothing.” What we’re seeing and hearing from the January 6th Committee makes that very clear.

But Ted Budd has described the work of the bipartisan committee as getting in the way of “freedom-loving Americans.”

His comments are frankly disqualifying for someone who wants to lead and represent us in the United States Senate.

We cannot afford another far-right, anti-democratic senator who will undermine our Constitution for the sake of power. So we need to ask:

Will you make a donation to our campaign today to help us win North Carolina and defend our democracy?

This race is one of Democrats’ best chances to flip a seat and stop Republicans from installing another anti-democratic, Trump loyalist in the Senate, but we cannot do it without your support.

Thank you in advance,

Team Beasley
