Friend, it's Gary Peters, chair of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Do you have a minute? As chair, part of my job involves monitoring voter trends and nationwide electoral data to make sure that we have the votes to defend and expand our majority in the fall.

I'm reaching out because I just got an urgent update from my team on some startling (and concerning) statistics. You see, in a recent primary, GOP voters turned out TWO TIMES as much as Democrats. This is terrible news for Democrats – especially since Mitch McConnell just needs to flip one seat to take back the majority!

I know that grassroots Democrats like you are fired up to defend our Senate majority, protect the right to safe and legal abortion, expand voting rights and build on all the incredible progress that we've made. But the GOP is riling up their far-right base like never before. We cannot afford to lose our momentum.

That's why I've launched a campaign to get as many Democratic voters to commit to vote as possible. So please, will you add your name and pledge to hit the polls this November? I need another 93 Democrats from DC to sign on before 11:59 p.m. tonight – can I count on you?
