We’re happy to announce that DCCC Frontliners Katie Porter (CA-47), Mike Levin (CA-49), Andy Kim (NJ-03), and Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05), all secured the Democratic nomination in their primaries this past Tuesday!

Congratulations to all!

Now, it’s on to the general election where they will face their Republican opponents in races all considered competitive by the Cook Political Report.

Team, everything is on the line this November. The GOP spent the last year and a half passing bills in Republican-led states attacking a person’s right to safe and legal abortion, suppressing the right to vote, and targeting the LGBTQ+ community. If Republicans win the majority this November, they will attempt to implement the very same far-right agenda nationwide. We need to unify now, and let our members know we have their backs. According to POLITICO, House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy’s “Commitment to America” task force is getting legislation ready should Republicans take the House.

What’s in store? Reviving the Keystone XL pipeline, continuing to “build the wall” along the southern border, and establishing a “parental bill of rights” likely modeled on Florida’s Don’t Say Gay law.

Instead of focusing on delivering for the American people, Republicans turn to what they do best: dividing our country. Future Forum Dems, on the other hand, are focused on solutions and moving forward. That’s why we need to come together now and show the GOP that we will not back down.
