Hi John,

This week, Joe stood alongside his Democratic colleagues in the House and voted to pass the Protecting Our Kids Act, a package of common sense gun laws that will help curb senseless mass shootings. This bill will…

→ Raise the purchasing age for certain semi-automatic weapons to 21 years old
→ Crack down on gun trafficking and straw purchases
→ Close the ghost gun loophole
→ Strengthen safe storage requirements
→ Outlaw bump stocks and high-capacity magazines

This vital legislation passed out of the House in a largely party-line vote.

Joe knows that we must take bold action to protect our children, but it won’t be easy. Kevin McCarthy, Washington Republicans, and his opponent have all opposed these reforms. They are comfortable doing nothing to keep our communities safe from gun violence, and repeatedly obstruct efforts to do so.

Joe is a fierce advocate for our safety in Congress, and he isn’t afraid to stand up for what’s right. Do you stand with Joe in supporting common sense gun laws that will protect Americans and keep guns out of the hands of criminals?
