Despite the discouraging headlines, we have a unique opportunity to win real representation in our government right now. We’re seeing nationwide movements for justice and equity, bold Democratic women stepping up at every level, and community members like you rallying together to demand equal rights and dignity for all. 

As we celebrate Pride Month, we honor the hard work of those who’ve gotten us to this moment of opportunity – and we lift up our LGBTQ+ Emerge alums leading the charge today. 

But we can’t take this opportunity for granted. With the ultraconservative SCOTUS majority attacking our most basic rights, the continued spread of hateful legislation targeting LGBTQ+ youth, and critical protections like the Equality Act still stuck in Congress, it’s OUR responsibility to push back, protect our progress, and win the political transformation our communities deserve.

That means Emerge’s work to recruit, train, and elect more LGBTQ+ women is more urgent than ever. But none of that work is possible without grassroots support from folks like you.

That’s why we need 500 people to pledge their support today – and we’re counting on you to add your name before our midnight deadline.
