John,
Now that Adam’s jungle primary has passed, we've turned our focus to another big event on the horizon — the FEC quarterly fundraising deadline at the end of this month.
Every three months, we file a public report listing all of our contributions for that period to the FEC along with all other campaigns. Then, the media highlights stand-out numbers, pundits gauge the energy of the midterm elections off of them, and Republican politicians and their dark money donors pore over them looking for signs of weakness.
They’re sure to be scouring over Adam’s and other Democrats’ reports to try and see where a few million bucks from a dark money super PAC could swing an election.
In a year where just 4 seats separate us from a Republican House majority, it's absolutely essential we post a strong number — especially after just finishing an expensive jungle primary election where Adam is still introducing himself to tens of thousands of new voters.
Right now, Adam is busy with work in Congress (which you may have seen), and as a result, he hasn’t had time to fundraise. Can you help us make up for it and be a part of our grassroots fundraising effort by pitching in $10 today?

In a way, the FEC public filing acts as a report card for how much momentum a campaign has, and with Adam being a high-profile Democrat, all eyes are sure to be on his numbers to see how our party overall is fairing during midterm season.
If we want to set the tone that Democrats are staying strong and that the people reject the thought of a Kevin McCarthy speakership, having a stand-out report is a must. And we have some work to do.
Chip in $10 today to support us in building a movement capable of defending our House majority in November.
