John, last weekend’s Pride Month events in Connecticut kicked off a month of celebrating our state’s LGBTQI+ community, and there are so many more events coming up throughout June.
One of the best ways that you can get involved in protecting and expanding LGBTQI+ rights in Connecticut is joining the CT Dems LGBTQI+ Caucus — click here to join: [[link removed]]

Registration for the LGBTQI+ Caucus is free, and all are welcome. In addition to our work advocating at the state and national level for LGBTQI+ rights, we host a speaker series featuring special guest speakers every month.
I’m a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community, and as Executive Director of the CT Democratic Party, I’m committed to using our resources to ensure that Connecticut forever remains a safe haven for every member of every community.

One of our top priorities is ensuring that Connecticut has queer represenation in our government. Now more than ever, we need more leaders who aren’t just advocating for queer rights, but who also understand first-hand what is at stake.
As you may know, Republicans have advanced an unprecedented wave of anti-LGBTQI+ legislation across the country this year, including Florida’s new “Don’t Say Gay” law, attacking the rights of LGBTQI+ teens, children, and their families.
Connecticut is one of the most LGBTQ-friendly states in the country thanks to decades of work from allies like you. Now, in this pivotal moment in American history, our work at the state level advocating for LGBTQI+ rights has never been more vital.
We’d love to have you with us: please consider joining the Connecticut Democratic Party’s LGBTQI+ Caucus to get involved in this important work. [[link removed]]
